Beagle Mobile is a mobile asset auditing tool. Specifically designed for Windows Mobile PDAs and Smartphones. Beagle Mobile makes the job of stocktaking Items/Assets easy and fast. Beagle Mobile works on the simple premise that an item/asset must be somewhere and with someone.
Beagle Mobile also allows you to record new items/assets whilst away from the office.
Barcode/Rfid scanners are supported with inbuilt support for Grabba and Socket scanners. Designed to work best on a screen resolution of 320 x 240, Beagle Mobile has also been used with integrated devices from Motorola(Symbol). Email for demo versions for the Socket and Motorola Versions of Beagle Mobile.
The evaluation version is fully functional but limited in the number of items/sessions you can use it for. Demonstration data is included if you evaluate it as a standalone program. If you are also evaluating the Beagle PC then the evaluation version will work with the data from the Beagle PC program.
If you are using MYOB Asset Manager Pro then a software application is required to interface Beagle Mobile to this application.
If your device uses Pocket PC 2003 or Windows Mobile 5 then you will also need to install the .Net Framework 2.0. We can send you a link for the free download, just email us.

Licensing
Beagle Mobile - Field auditing of items and assets initially runs in demo mode, which does not require licensing. To license any of our software, you must install ScanThat License Manager before the software you wish to license. Trial software may be reinstalled to the same effect.
Installation
Installing Sync Software
Your Windows Mobile/Pocket PC device requires Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to be able to synchronise with a host computer, and install any ScanThat software. It is assumed that this software is already installed and configured for use. ScanThat software will function correctly with either application.
1.1 - Installing Sync Software
- If your PC is running Windows XP or an earlier version, synchronisation settings are managed through Microsoft ActiveSync. To download, or for more information, visit http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile.
- If your PC is running Windows Vista, synchronisation settings are now managed by Windows Mobile Device Center. To download, or for more information, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile.
Software Installation
Open the msi file and follow instructions. Be particularly careful when you are asked to "Check the Mobile Device Screen". You need to complete all the steps on the Mobile Device before continuing otherwise some components may not be loaded correctly.
